Sergeant Rodney M. Davis, USMC (MOH)

The 2nd Annual Blue Diamond Sporting Clays Championship was conducted on Sunday, September 25, 2016, at Lehigh Valley, PA, and it was a HUGE SUCCESS! Thanks to all our Sponsors, Shooters and Supporters, this event generated nearly $50,000.00 in “net proceeds,” which will be donated to the Marine Corps-related Scholarship Programs we support, including:

  • The Sgt. Rodney M. Davis, USMC (MOH) Memorial Scholarship Program in Macon, GA;
  • The 1st Marine Division Association Scholarship Fund at Camp Pendleton, CA;
  • The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation in Alexandria, VA.

Please visit our website again soon to get details about an all-new Sporting Clays Fund-raiser Shoot that will be conducted on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at The Meadows Shooting Club in Forsythe, GA, that will benefit the Sgt. Rodney Davis Scholarship Fund, and the 3rd Annual Blue Diamond Sporting Clays Championship at Lehigh Valley, which is scheduled and confirmed to take place on Saturday, September 30, 2017. Thanks to our brother and sister Marines in the Alamo Chapter of the FMDA in San Antonio, and their great success with their own Shoot in San Antonio over the past few years, we decided to take action to plan and sponsor these fun shoots as major fund-raisers, and we now know that the folks in the “hunter and sporting clays community” are both very generous and patriotic folks who have made a huge, positive difference for our Scholarship Programs over the past two years.

Thank you all, and Semper Fidelis!
